    Finnish driver Markus Niemela will lead the USAC West Coast sprint Cars back to Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif., where Saturday night he finished fourth in a 30-lap race. Niemela's point lead stands at 12 over Jace Vander Weerd, Saturday's feature winner......(more)

    HANFORD, CA – MARCH 30, 2014...
    Regaining command after a Michael Pickens spin, Visalia’s Jace Vander Weerd sailed to the “Gary Jacob Memorial” triumph at Hanford’s Kings Speedway. With the victory, Vander Weerd became the fourth different USAC West Coast Sprint Car feature winner in the four point races held to date. Fast qualifier Nic Faas, hard charger Matt Mitchell, Markus Niemela, and Pickens followed Jace to the checkered flags......(more)

    This Saturday, March 29th, the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series will make their first of five appearances at Kings Speedway in Hanford. The “Gary Jacob Memorial” and fourth point race of the season will also showcase the West Coast Late Model Shootout, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, and Mini Stocks. The Pit Gate will open at 2:00pm, the Front Gates will open at 5:00pm, with Racing scheduled to begin at 6:30pm......(more)

    BAKERSFIELD, CA – MARCH 23, 2014...
    With numerous changes for the lead, Ojai’s Troy Rutherford out-dueled Nic Faas in the final laps to claim Saturday’s victory at Bakersfield Speedway. The $1,500 USAC West Coast Sprint Car triumph was Rutherford’s second career series win as the group returns to action this Saturday at Hanford’s Kings Speedway.     TULARE, CA – MARCH 16, 2014...
    In one of the most dramatic finishes in series history, Dennis Howell of Rancho Palos Verdes emerged with his first USAC West Coast Sprint Car triumph. Officially leading all 30 laps, Howell faced numerous challenges from Jace and Richard Vander Weerd to earn the $1,500 victory at Tulare’s Merle Stone Chevrolet Thunderbowl Raceway. Richard Vander Weerd, Jace Vander Weerd, “Hollywood” Danny Faria Jr., and Bud Kaeding followed Howell to the checkered flags.....(more)

    This Friday, March 14th, the USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series will invade Tulare’s Merle Stone Chevrolet Thunderbowl Raceway. The event will mark the second point race of the campaign and the first of five appearances at the lightning fast 1/3-mile oval.
